Photos by John Broughton, Copyright 2010 Perhaps the greatest jazz fusion guitarist of all time, Allan Holdsworth, along with drummer Chad Wackerman and bassist Ernest Tibbs performed recently for a packed house at Marytrs. Holdsworth is a truly unique artist who developed a sound of his own that draws inspiration from the violin and horn players like Coltrane. With his delay drenched tone, lightning fast riffs and encyclopedic chord voicings, Holdsworth and his crew thrilled the fans in attendance with a strong and memorable concert.
